Kangaroo Chair

N° 5672
Plywood, foam, satin chrome
H 39", W 36", D 36"

The Kangaroo Chair could be seen as an updating of Eero Saarinen’s Womb Chair of 1948 in that it joined two thin shells of molded plywood under the seat and back and then wrapped them in form-fitting upholstery over a slender layer of latex foam padding.

Produced by Herman Miller from 1956 to 1963.
