Originally know as the Middle Management Group, the Modern Management Group, as it was later renamed, consisted of 22 basic components—single or double pedestal desks, side units, storage cabinets, and various accessories—which could be combined into a multitude of variations. In addition to its versatility, the system also stood out for its color options. The MMG was developed for a medium price range.

Produced by Herman Miller from 1957 to 1962.
