In this exhibition, financed by the companies Monsanto and Chemstrand, eight designers—including George Nelson and Company, Vladimir Kagan, and Jack Lenor Larsen—showed their futuristic visions. The proposals from the Nelson firm were of a purely technical nature, and dealt with innovative possibilities for connecting furniture parts.
