This exhibition, curated by Mildred Friedman, provided an overview of the work of the designers George Nelson, Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, and Robert Propst for Herman Miller, and looked back at the history of the furniture manufacturer over the prior three decades. Nelson wrote the introduction to the exhibition catalog, issue 98/99 of the renowned Design Quarterly from the Walker Arts Center.
