Wood Products Research House, Bellevue, Washington

An initiative of the magazine Living for Young Homemakers, which with the support of two sponsors (one being Weyerhaeuser Company) had a wood house planned by the architect Paul Hayden Kirk, with interiors furnished by Nelson and Company with Herman Miller furniture. Living for Young Homemakers reported extensively on the project in their February 1961 issue, and Herman Miller included it in its advertising brochure Three Interiors.
