Woodruff House, Quogue, New York

A beach house for a couple with two children and a small budget. The building rested on a small dune, built on a concrete pedestal housing a carport. Above it, on a total of 1,200 square feet, were the actual living spaces with four bedrooms. The wood construction with a console roof was surrounded on the side facing the ocean and on the two ends of the house by a sundeck. The furnishings for the house were also selected or designed by Nelson.
